Next Issue – VESPER

When the day and the night melt into each other via grey dawn or golden evening, it is also the best time to prey precisely, consume loudly or pray in soft whispers. It is also the time of the crepuscular and the illicit, a daily murder mystery of our planet’s only sun. The murderer is exposed with the next morning’s breaking new(s).

‘Vesper’ is the evening star in Latin. But the evening star is also the morning star, and both of them happen to be planet Venus. If the Earthen humans are approaching the twilight of their borrowed time, are they going to descend into the night or rise up to a morning?

Our next issue wants you to take us to an unfamiliar neck of the uncanny valley that a setting Sol and a rising Hesperos bring to light. We are seeking originally gathered words and/or original images about ‘Vesper’.

Whatever evening and its ambiguities mean to you, it can’t just be black and white. All genre-d and genre-fluid contributions with all possible meetings of texts and images are welcome. From 1 page-length up to 69. Audio and video submissions are welcome.
